Gardening enthusiasts are urged to save the date for an upcoming plant sale event poised to cater to their green ambitions.
The South Surrey Garden Club is gearing up for its much-anticipated annual plant sale, scheduled a week earlier this year on Saturday, May 4th, as highlighted in a recent press release.
Boasting the title of the largest plant sale in South Surrey, the event promises a diverse selection of over 2,000 meticulously nurtured plants. From resilient sun-loving perennials to shade-friendly varieties, along with distinctive trees, hanging baskets, and rare specimen plants, there will be something to suit every gardener’s taste.
Attendees will have the opportunity to consult with knowledgeable experts on-site to assist in selecting the perfect plants, even for the most challenging garden conditions.
Additionally, the sale will feature a range of gently used gardening tools, soil enhancements, and premium gardening gloves available for purchase.
A special attraction, the Mother’s Day table, will showcase unique plants and pots ideal for gifting mothers, promising to be a delightful experience for children and parents alike.
Beyond its horticultural offerings, the event serves as a vital fundraiser for the club, supporting a plethora of initiatives including monthly speaker series, garden tours, workshops, and various other activities.
