HOLLISTER, Calif. — Authorities from the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office announced the dismantling of a significant illegal marijuana cultivation site discovered last week.
The operation, uncovered with assistance from the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office CASPR Task Force and the Hollister Fire Department, was located on Buena Vista Road.
Approximately 19,000 illegal marijuana plants were destroyed during the operation, as reported by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office via a social media update.
The investigation into the illegal activity remains ongoing.
