Walsall Arboretum is gearing up to offer garden enthusiasts some irresistible deals at its annual plant sale. Hosted by the Walsall Arboretum User Group (WAUG), this year’s sale is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, running from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
Preparations for the event have been underway for weeks, with WAUG members diligently germinating seeds and dividing herbaceous plants sourced from the Woodland Garden and their personal gardens. They’ve even enlisted the help of friends to bolster their offerings.
Attendees can expect a diverse selection of garden and house plants up for grabs. The sale will be stationed across three gazebos conveniently located outside the Woodland Wildlife Garden, adjacent to the pathway from the Grange Car Park leading towards the children’s playground.
Cash transactions are preferred, although there will be one card reader available for emergencies.
The proceeds from the sale will contribute to WAUG’s funds, earmarked for initiatives deemed beneficial to Walsall Arboretum.
To facilitate the transportation of purchases, boxes and bags will be provided for shoppers.
