DuBois, Pa. (WJAC) — On Saturday, dozens of volunteers gathered in downtown DuBois to plant trees as part of a community effort to improve the area’s green spaces.
Mayor Pat Reasigner announced that 80 volunteers, aged 8 to 75, took part in the initiative, successfully planting 66 trees.
The project was made possible through a grant from Pennsylvania’s bare root program, as well as contributions from additional donors.
