The Adel Public Library is celebrating the fall season with an exciting event this week.
On Thursday, from 6-7 p.m., the library invites adults to join in a hands-on workshop to create autumn-themed tissue paper flowers. Programming Specialist Lily Schwarz explains that this event was inspired by popular requests from the community.
“This program was actually something many people asked about,” Schwarz said. “It will be led by our Patron Services Assistant, Naima Nicholson-Lovejoy, who has been working with large, vibrant paper flowers—some as large as 12 inches in diameter—that are on display in the back office.”
The event is open to adults ages 18 and up, but participants must register in advance. For more details or to sign up, call the Adel Public Library at (515)-993-3512.
