Specialists at Kew Gardens are working to digitize its vast archive of eight million dried plant specimens, including some collected by the renowned naturalist Charles Darwin.
This project, the largest ever undertaken at the west London botanical garden, aims to preserve plant life for future generations and make the information accessible to people around the world.
While the team is currently three-quarters of the way through digitizing the collection, they are now seeking public support to complete the task.
