The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is offering a perfect escape from the winter chill with its annual Spring Flower Show. Running from February 1st to March 16th, the show is included in the daily admission price to the Arboretum. Tickets are $20 for adults, and children under 15 can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult.
The Spring Flower Show is an ideal way to brighten up your winter days with vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. I recently visited with my daughter, and we had a wonderful time exploring the displays. Some of our favorite highlights included the Enchanted Woodland Village, where miniature houses were just the right size for my 2-year-old, and the stunning birds created by artist Patty Carmody Smith. The show also featured rotating works from two other artists, adding fresh surprises each time we visited.
We also loved the Mushroom display and the Woodland Friends Enchanted Plant Hunt, which kept us engaged with hidden details scattered throughout the flower exhibits. The show felt like an endless adventure, as we explored new rooms, hallways, and additional buildings, always discovering something beautiful and new around every corner.
In addition to the floral displays, the Spring Flower Show also offers special events such as Spring Flower Show Teas, Make and Take events, Yoga sessions, and Date Nights. These events typically require separate admission, so be sure to check the Arboretum’s website for dates and fees.
