Hedel-based Anthurium nursery, Feteris Plants, is embarking on a partnership with Floricultura varieties. Following a series of successful test orders, owner Martin Feteris has chosen to incorporate Floricultura starting material into his operations on a larger scale. Feteris Plants aims to diversify its assortment with varieties that offer a comprehensive range and have strong appeal in the market.
The collaboration, confirmed by Niels Kuiper and Martin Feteris, is poised for a long-term endeavor. Their shared focus on quality and market desirability is a driving force behind this partnership.
“We initiated the partnership with the Koro variety and subsequently introduced the Kardia,” explains Martin Feteris. “Kardia stands out as a robust grower, characterized by a lush leaf structure, large blooms, and it brings a high-quality plant to our portfolio. Its striking bright red flowers and extended flowering period make it a must-have in the market. In addition to Kardia, our assortment also includes Alma and Delicia.”
Floricultura’s account manager, Niels Kuiper, underscores the significance of their collaboration. “Martin Feteris was among the first growers to recognize the potential of the anthurium variety, Kardia,” he notes. “Kardia boasts large and vibrant bright red flowers, making it ideally suited for larger pot sizes.” This shared vision for quality and variety attractiveness underpins their commitment to a fruitful, long-term partnership.
