The Mother’s Day flowers program is making a return to Mountain View Cemetery in Lethbridge for the year 2024. Organized by the City of Lethbridge Parks and Cemeteries team, this annual tradition is set to take place on Sunday, May 12th.
The initiative offers visitors to Mountain View Cemetery a complimentary rose as a tribute to the memory of their loved ones. This tradition, which commenced in 2018, has been observed on both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Those interested can obtain their complimentary rose from beside the cemetery office. Distribution will take place on Sunday, May 12, 2024, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., or until supplies last. It is advised to arrive early, as only the first 300 visitors will receive roses.
Furthermore, roses will be distributed once more on Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 16th.
