The 15th Daegu Flower Expo, known as Korea’s largest indoor flower exhibition, is currently taking place at EXCO until June 8.
This year’s theme, “Flower, 365,” highlights the participation of 218 organizations from the flower industry, showcasing their creations across 766 booths covering an area of 15,000 square meters.
The expo boasts the presence of over 700 florists and more than 100 artists, who will present a diverse range of floral artistry and events.
Divided into various themed sections, visitors can explore the “Theme Hall” embodying the essence of “Flower, 365,” the “Cheongna Sangwan” featuring 12 large-scale works, a “Local Government Hall” promoting flower culture nationwide, and a “General Gardening Hall” exhibiting various horticultural displays.
Interactive experiences abound at the expo, including flower basket crafting, decorating preserved plants, designing plant interiors, succulent art, calligraphy, flower-patterned hanbok photography, flower songpyeon making, and a pet plant experience center.
Attendees can marvel at unique artistic presentations such as large cacti, mythical flowers, stonework, and wildflowers, while enjoying fashion shows, flower exhibitions, and musical performances in floral-filled spaces.
Moreover, the event hosts a Flower Healing Plant Market, where visitors can purchase flowers and plants at discounted prices, alongside companion plant sharing and a companion plant treatment center.
Operating hours for the expo are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until June 8, with adult admission priced at 9,000 won, and discounted tickets available through advance reservation.
