Volunteers Needed for Wheelchair Decoration at Jersey Cheshire Home.

Three residents at Jersey Cheshire Home are seeking volunteers to help decorate their wheelchairs for upcoming events. Stan, Irene, and Dina plan to participate in the Battle of Flowers parade and the Moonlight Walk. They hope local residents will assist in preparing their wheelchairs for these festivities.

The trio is also looking for costumes or outfits that fit their theme: “Party Time at Jersey Cheshire Home.”

Stan Baudains, 75, expressed his excitement about taking part in the events. “I’m really excited and pleased to join in. It’s something we need to keep alive,” he said. “This is a highly anticipated annual event that brings together people of all ages. It helps individuals like myself and fosters a sense of community.”

He encouraged anyone interested in participating. “It would be wonderful for those who want to get involved. It gives me the chance to meet new people and increases engagement at the home.”

Islanders interested in helping are encouraged to contact Jersey Cheshire Home directly.
