Over One Ton of Wild Hemp Plants Incinerated in Agdam

Agdam Police Conduct Operation as Part of “Khas-Khas 2024” Plan.

The Agdam District Police Department recently carried out an operation under the “Khas-Khas 2024” initiative.

According to the Barda regional group of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ press service, the event focused on the eradication of wild hemp plants in the area. Law enforcement officers collected and destroyed a total of 3,899 wild hemp plants, weighing over one ton, in the liberated villages of Khachindarband, Alimadatli, and Aliagali in Agdam. The plants were subsequently burned to prevent their potential misuse.

This operation is part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal drug cultivation and maintain public safety in the region.
