Okinawa may not have the crisp autumn air or vivid fall foliage of the mainland, but it offers a unique subtropical fall experience you won’t want to miss. The Bios on the Hill park in Uruma City is hosting its Hanamatsuri (Flower Festival) through November 4, showcasing a spectacular display of over 25,000 cooktown orchids.
The park, known for its nature-themed attractions, features a special Orchid Intersection where visitors can marvel at these vibrant blooms. Alongside the orchids, the park boasts a fern tree forest, diverse foliage plants, and air plants, providing plenty to explore.
In addition to the seasonal flower display, Bios on the Hill offers regular attractions such as water buffalo cart rides and jungle cruise boat rides. Visitors can also enjoy interacting with goats, Agu pigs, and feeding chickens.
Bios on the Hill is an ideal destination for a tranquil autumn outing on the island.
