Police Discover Cannabis Farm in Groves Street Raid.

Earlier this month, police conducted a raid on a property in Groves Street, setting up a crime scene to facilitate a thorough search.

On October 19, officers and forensic teams arrived at the residence with a warrant to enter the property. They spent three days investigating the premises and ensuring the site was safe.

The operation brought a notable police presence to the area. A crime scene investigation van was stationed nearby, accompanied by a police car and van across from the residence, with another police car positioned in an alley next to the terraced house.

Despite the activity, no cordon was established, allowing the small volume of traffic on the residential street to pass without disruption.

By Monday afternoon, police had concluded their investigation and left the area.

Wiltshire Police later confirmed that the property was being used to grow an illegal Class B drug. “An established cannabis farm of around 100 plants was discovered,” a police spokesperson said. “Our enquiries are ongoing.”
