The flower displays along Yersin, Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Van Cu, Le Dai Hanh, and Tran Quoc Toan streets, as well as around Xuan Huong Lake, are nearing completion. These vibrant flower spaces will be open to the public for one month, from December 4, 2024, to January 2, 2025.
In preparation for the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival 2024, the city’s Department of Culture and Sports announced that many tourist attractions will offer free or discounted entry on the opening day, December 5, and on select days throughout the festival. Notable sites such as Da Lat Railway Station, Da Lat Flower Garden, Lam Dong Museum, and Palace 3 will welcome visitors without charge.
Additionally, attractions like Love Valley will provide a 50% discount on admission fees on December 5 and a 20% discount on subsequent days. Specific facilities including Mongo Land, Puppy Farm, and Thuy Thuan Coffee will distribute 500 free tickets to early visitors.
Vinh Tien Artichoke and Wine Company will also participate by offering a 10% discount on entrance fees and products from December 5 to December 31. Furthermore, 17 luxury hotels and resorts in the area are providing discounts of 10% or gifts valued at VND500,000 (approximately $19.70) for guests during the festival.
On December 2, a media center for the festival opened at the Hoa Binh Exhibition Area to assist journalists covering the event. The center has already facilitated nearly 500 articles from various media outlets and numerous social media posts, generating significant interest among both local and international audiences.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Da Lat Flowers—A Symphony of Colors,” which will run from December 5 to December 31. The event will feature a variety of activities including twelve flower-themed programs, twenty-two cultural and artistic events, two seminars, three trade events promoting local products, and four sports events. Organizers anticipate attracting around two million visitors, including approximately 60,000 from abroad.
