This year’s Spring Flower Show at Garfield Park Conservatory, “Rooted in Mystery,” unveils the fascinating underground world of plant roots. While often out of sight, roots are essential for much more than just providing water and nutrients to the plant.
They communicate with each other through chemical and electrical signals, helping plants survive and thrive. Visitors will have the chance to explore the various types of roots and their remarkable roles in plant life, all while enjoying a vibrant display of springtime blooms such as azaleas, pansies, snapdragons, hydrangeas, and a stunning array of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.
