The Hong Kong Flower Show has officially begun at Victoria Park, running under the captivating theme “Ablaze with Glory,” with Cosmos as the featured flower. This year’s event promises to enchant visitors with its serene and charming atmosphere, thanks to the delicate petals of the cosmos flowers gently swaying in the breeze.
Cosmos, renowned for its resilience and joy, is expected to bring boundless energy to the show. The exhibition will showcase a stunning array of potted plants, floral art, and innovative landscaping designs created by over 200 organizations from Hong Kong, mainland China, and overseas.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore more than 50 stalls offering a variety of floral and horticultural products, handicrafts, and local street food and drinks. This allows attendees to enjoy both the beautiful floral displays and delicious treats.
To foster creativity and engagement, the event includes a range of educational and entertaining activities suitable for all ages. These include children’s painting competitions, plant exhibit competitions, and guided tours. Additionally, floral art pieces by a local artist often compared to Yayoi Kusama will be on display.
The show will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM until March 23. Admission fees are HK$14 for adults and HK$7 for children aged four to 14, full-time students, seniors aged 60 and above, people with disabilities, and their accompanying caregivers. The event is organized by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and supported by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, which has been a major sponsor since 2014.
