Moncks Corner Flower Farm Offers Spring Pick-Your-Own Experience

by Anna

As spring unfolds across the Lowcountry, colorful blossoms are making their seasonal debut—and one local farm invites visitors to immerse themselves in the experience by hand-picking their own flowers.

Wild Goose Flower Farm, located at 245 Wild Goose Way in Moncks Corner, is offering a fresh way to enjoy the season. The family-run farm, founded by Alexis Rehbaum in 2023, welcomes guests to gather their own floral bouquets with a range of size options.

Currently in bloom are vibrant snapdragons, elegant delphiniums, soft anemones, and a limited supply of ranunculus. Visitors can choose from four bouquet sizes, labeled “the mini,” “the pint,” “the quart,” and “the ½ gallon.”

To maintain a peaceful environment and ensure enough flowers are available, visits are by appointment only. Time slots are released every two weeks and include special “date night” options on Friday and Sunday evenings at 5, 6, or 7 p.m.

Rehbaum, a U.S. Air Force veteran, first fell in love with flowers while stationed overseas. A visit to the famed tulip fields in the Netherlands sparked a lifelong appreciation for nature’s beauty.

Her passion eventually blossomed into more than a hobby. Gardening became a source of healing and strength during her struggles with postpartum depression and anxiety. That personal journey now shapes the mission of Wild Goose Flower Farm.

“The farm is more than a place to pick flowers,” the farm’s website notes. “It’s a sacred space where people can revel in the tranquility and rejuvenation that nature offers.”
