Weterings, renowned for its Donkey electric tractors, recently celebrated an exceptional milestone with one of its employees, Rafal Wiktor Nawarowski. He has been operating a Donkey electric tractor for an impressive 16 years, covering a remarkable distance of 47,564 kilometers. To honor this achievement and the enduring performance of the Donkey, Weterings presented Nawarowski with a certificate, cake, and a brand-new electric tractor—the Donkey STU.
The Donkey electric tractors from Weterings have earned a well-deserved reputation in the market for their reliability and longevity. Even after tens of thousands of kilometers, these tractors continue to perform admirably, making them a trusted choice for agricultural operations.
Rob van den Berg, co-owner of Weterings, explained, “We’ve provided them with a ‘stand’ version of the regular Donkey model for testing purposes.” This standi version of the Donkey tractor caters to customers who need to cover shorter distances, eliminating the need for frequent sitting and standing. While the seated model remains the preferred choice for many, the standi version offers a convenient alternative for tasks requiring shorter journeys.
Nick Weterings, the company’s other owner, added, “We developed the Donkey standi version in response to requests from customers who drive small distances.” The positive feedback received for this new model, including at trade shows, underscores its practicality and suitability for specific applications.
Rafal Wiktor Nawarowski’s accomplishment not only highlights the enduring quality of the Donkey electric tractor but also exemplifies the dedication and hard work of agricultural professionals who rely on these dependable machines to carry out essential tasks in greenhouses and nurseries.
The Donkey electric tractor continues to be a trusted and indispensable companion for agricultural operations, emphasizing Weterings’ commitment to delivering reliable solutions that stand the test of time.
