Peter Lexmond, Chief Commercial Officer at Meteor Systems, expressed his enthusiasm for this expansion, stating, “To be close to our customers, we have already spread our wings in different parts of the world: Canada, China, and… now soon also in Mexico.” The company’s brand-new facility in South America will serve as a hub for sales of the entire Meteor Systems product range in Mexico and Latin America. Notably, this facility will also include the assembly of drip systems, enabling faster service for customers and reducing transport costs. Lexmond emphasized that this move will contribute to strengthening the horticultural sector in Mexico.
Meteor Systems, comprising a dedicated team of 130 employees, conducts its latest innovations’ development in the Netherlands. The company’s Research and Development (R&D) department has a history of introducing pioneering solutions that have been warmly embraced by the horticultural industry.
