The Dutch Flower Group (DFG) is set to once again highlight the essential contributions of growers and suppliers during the upcoming Royal FloraHolland Trade Fair through its annual Dutch Flower Awards. This esteemed event serves as a platform for DFG to express gratitude for valuable partnerships and underline their significance in the floral industry.
Under the theme “New Perspectives,” this year’s Dutch Flower Awards will place a spotlight on innovation and forward-thinking visions. Nominees have been proposed by DFG member companies based on their initiatives and efforts aligned with this theme.
The judging panel, composed of members from DFG’s Executive Committee, has meticulously selected nine nominees who have demonstrated outstanding engagement and a pioneering approach. The Dutch Flower Awards are distributed across three categories: Flowers, Plants, and Foreign Suppliers.
Flowers Category: In the Flowers category, three nurseries have been nominated for their remarkable contributions: Beaumonde, Sunrise, and Zwettulips.
Plants Category: The Plants category features three exceptional nominees: Ansu, Kwekerij Mostert Nieuwerkerk, and Plant World.
Foreign Suppliers Category: For the Foreign Suppliers category, three noteworthy contenders have been recognized: Marginpar (Kenya + others), Rosefruits/Eric Stokman (Serbia), and Monarch Flowers (Portugal).
The winners of these prestigious awards will be unveiled during a celebratory ceremony at the RFH Trade Fair Aalsmeer on Wednesday, November 8th, at 3 pm. The awards ceremony will take place at the Dutch Flower Group stand, booth 2.9.
Additionally, the event will also feature the presentation of the Preferred Partner Recognition, a special acknowledgment dedicated to a supply chain partner who has demonstrated exceptional collaboration with Dutch Flower Group companies. This recognition will be bestowed immediately following the Dutch Flower Awards ceremony.
As DFG once again gathers industry stakeholders to celebrate innovation and collaboration, the Dutch Flower Awards stand as a testament to the industry’s commitment to pushing boundaries and embracing fresh perspectives in the ever-evolving world of floriculture.
