London, UK – As winter’s shortest days retreat, the anticipation of spring takes center stage, and on February 20, 2024, Keukenhof, Rijnbeek Perennials, and JUB Holland will offer an exclusive preview of the upcoming season at the Garden Press Event in London.

The 75th jubilee edition of Keukenhof, celebrated at the Business Design Centre, marks a vibrant convergence of a rich history and a forward-looking approach. The renowned flower exhibition, famous for showcasing blooming tulips, daffodils, and other bulb flowers, is embracing innovation and strengthening ties with the Dutch floricultural industry.

In collaboration with Rijnbeek Perennials and JUB Holland, Keukenhof is set to present a captivating fusion of spring-flowering bulbs and perennials. Rijnbeek Perennials, recognized for its extensive product range and expertise in landscaping, has curated a bold selection of early flowering plants and perennials. In a groundbreaking move, a 235 m2 mixed flowering field of bulbs and perennials will debut at Keukenhof, illustrating the synergy between these two floral elements.

JUB Holland, a longstanding Keukenhof exhibitor, will contribute its creative designs, showcasing the expertise gained from years of supplying flower bulbs. Garden and landscape designer Carien van Boxtel, in collaboration with JUB Holland, has been crafting vibrant borders in the park since 2019. For this special occasion, Van Boxtel designed a lively meadow-style field, promising extended flowering and a vibrant metamorphosis throughout Keukenhof’s 8-week opening period.

What sets this collaboration apart is the decision to keep the new perennial border in the ground after the season ends. This strategic move allows the garden to mature and bloom more lavishly in the coming years, ensuring sustainability and long-term visual impact.

Rijnbeek Perennials and JUB Holland’s joint border serves as a testament to the seamless integration of naturalizing bulbs and perennials. This combination not only enhances biodiversity early in the year but also extends the flowering time, creating a visual spectacle. The Dutch family businesses share common ground on sustainability and environmentally friendly production, offering landscaping solutions that prioritize ecological balance and responsibility.

The Garden Press Event, scheduled for February 20, provides an exclusive sneak peek for British garden media, offering insights into Keukenhof’s upcoming season and the groundbreaking collaboration with Rijnbeek Perennials and JUB Holland. Visitors will witness the early flowering show presentation at the joint stand (nr. H141-H142), setting the stage for a blooming season that brings together innovation, sustainability, and the beauty of nature.
